AICE Media Studies

 First scene: In the first scene I will be filming in the living room. It will be an over the shoulder shot as a girl is on the other side smiling.  Second Scene: In the second scene they will still be in the living room and this shot will pan to show the two people as it appears they are talking. One will then turn around and face the camera so they are both facing the camera.  Third Scene: In the third scene there will be a wide shot showing a bedroom door opened with someone that is peeking their head out of it. There will also be a girl in bed appearing to be asleep. This will be shot with little light due to it being night time during the scene and in a bedroom where someone is sleeping.  Fourth Scene: In the fourth scene it will slowly zoom into the doorway and the person standing in it. He will then appear to whisper out loud.  Fifth scene: In the fifth scene the shot will zoom into the man closing the door slowly but enough to grasp that the door made a noise when closing.  Six

 Props: For my music video there are not any props that are needed.  Costumes: These will include cowboy hat, jeans, a dress, and normal clothing a teenager would wear. (jeans, shorts, tank top, t shirt etc.) In the other music videos for this genre this is usually what they would wear. Therefore I am trying to incorporate some of these things into my own music video. Schedule: We are given a while to film this project.  However, I do not want to procrastinate and wait until the last minute and be stressed. Therefore I will probably do most of my filming during Thanksgiving break. Which is November 22-26th. Having this time off of school allows me to really focus on this project. It also gives me time to work around the weather for the parts needing to be filmed outside.  Locations for filming: Some locations that are going to be seen is the inside of a house, in the street, possibly the beach and car. I am doing a music video on the song My Little Girl by Tim Mcgraw. This song is part of the country music genre. Music videos in this genre can vary based on the mood of the song. In these music videos they usually tell the story of the song.   They usually wear costumes and clothing that would be called western. For example, they usually wear cowboys hats, jeans, belts, boots, etc.  There are a wide range of props used in the music videos of this genre. For example, horses, trucks, drinks, etc.  Common settings in country music videos are outside, barns, a house, beaches, cars/trucks, and bars/restaurants. The settings are usually based off something stated or implied in the song.  The score in these songs/videos is to make the audience feel what the songs wants them too. If the artist wrote a song that wants the audience to feel sad they will do their best to amplify that feeling.  Common camera angles found in these music videos are tracking shot, eye level, god view, over the shoul

 I am going to work alone for this project. I like to work alone because it causes less stress on me and others. Working alone saves you the stress of worrying about if the other person your working with is going to do what they have to or leave you hanging. Working alone is something I like to do when given the option. It helps me practice my time management and helps. It is also easier to decide on the details in the project. Being able to decide what you want to do for the whole project relieves a lot of stress and irritation. Working in a group you sometimes have to compromise. When you work alone the only person you have to compromise with is yourself. Being able to have full control over the project is something that causes relief to me. It is important to me that this project turns out how I want it to and the easiest way to do that is by working alone. I really don't mind working alone. Although the company of people can be nice. Although I have introduced myself in the past, I am here again. After the last project I feel I have progressed in this class. The commercial has really helped me learn more about this class and why I enjoy it so much. Anyways, let me introduce myself again. My name is Taylor Lamont. I am currently in the 10th grade at Fort Lauderdale High School. I play on the varsity girls lacrosse team for my school and on a travel lacrosse team during the spring and summer. My favorite classes I have been taking this year are Anatomy and Physiology and this AICE Media Studies class. As I am in tenth grade I have been looking into what I want to do in the future. I have no idea what I want to study or what my dream job is, I do, however know I would like to go to college.
