 Before we started our editing process. I wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the software we were going to use. I did this by exploring the website at first. We are using Imovie to edit our whole film. This is a free software for us because we have availability to Apple devices. With thi I went through all the options for sound effects. I also looked at the available transition options.  Another thing I did was recorded a random video and went through the process of putting clips together. I also worked on adding music and adjusting it to the level that you are able to hear the dialogue in the film. I also looked at how the lighting effects worked. We will need these because we will need to darken our films to make it look like it is night time. I also made sure that there was no watermark that was showing. Since this would affect our grade it was important that there wasn't going to be. I have used this site in the past. However, I wanted to go more in to detail in the web

 We were planning on filming Saturday, March 12th. However, our plans had to change. One of our members in our group was not able to film that day. Our schedules are a little tight right now so finding a new day to film might be difficult. However, we have the weekends of spring break to film if everyone is available that day. Our group has looked over our schedules and are currently trying to figure out a new date that will work to film. I am going on vacation over spring break so the only days during spring break so I am available is the weekends. Our filming location has not changed. We are still filming at my house. On my rooftop deck. It matches the vibe of our film well. As it is eerie and dark up there at night. Daylight savings is something that we will now have to take into consideration while filming. When we were planning on filming it would get dark earlier. However, now with the sun staying up longer the time to film will be more limited and we might have to film over a fe

 We need costumes to film our project. We want casual clothes that makes us look like teenagers. We also want colors that won't clash with each other. We didn't want to buy an outfit if we did not have too. So we looked through our own wardrobe to try and find an outfit for each of us. We had lots of options. We wanted each picked out two outfits that we would want to wear. We picked these outfits based on style, comfortability, and color. All these factors are important because we want to make sure that everything goes smooth when recording our film. We ended up finding outfits for each of us. This helps us a lot. Now we do not have to add an extra day to go shopping and find outfits that would work for each other. This also allows us to limit the amount of money if any we spend. At first picking outfits did not cross our minds as something that was important. However, I am glad I researched some things that are needed to go into a film. This allowed us to remember about props

Today, I browsed our options for available music. We looked at sounds available to use without credits. Doing this we found some we liked. However, we still chose to research the things needed to get credits for a specific song or sound. To get these credits, you need to email the company with the rights to the specific thing you want and ask them for permission to use it. You have to be very specific on what you want the rights for. They may take a while to answer so we emailed them as soon as we knew what song we wanted to use. Until we have received an email allowing us to access the rights. We have come up with a back up plan. I browsed the available sound effects on Imovie to find one that would fit with our movie. It has a retro sci-fi beat. Making it the perfect addition to our movie if we cannot get the proper credits needed. Finding the sounds on Imovie was a simple process as all of them were titled and separated into different categories. The sound titles were very specific.

 1. The movie opens to a fire burning. This will be a good way to get the audience intrigued  2. The camera will then zoom out to show all our characters as a way to introduce them to the viewers.  3. Taylor will then suggest that the groups roasts marshmallows and they begin to do so.  4. The camera shows Taylor laughing to put the viewers at ease and prevent them from suspecting that anything bad will happen  5. She then states how happy she is once again comforting the viewers.  6. Denton describes the providing a little backstory for the movie.  7. The camera shows Cecelia and Wyatt right as Cecelia is about to speak.  8. Cecelia shows her appreciation for the marshmallows and thanks Taylor  9. Wyatt is reminded and also thanks Taylor.  10. The camera shows Taylor smile.  11. Taylor acknowledges their appreciation and says “no problem, guys”  12. Everyone sits quietly as calm music plays and the camera fades to black.  13.   The title will either be in Showcard Gothic or Times New Roman font. The font will hover in  from the left center.   The credits will be embedded in the scene   For example, the credits will be drawn in ashes near the campfire   Working Title: Abduction   It will be bold and in all caps   The title will float onto the screen from the center left   The title will dissolve after 3 seconds   The font color will depend on the background   The first name of the person who holds the j ob will be 2 sizes larger than the rest of the words
