1. 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?  

Energy drinks have always been one of those things that have been deemed as unhealthy. Celsius is trying to resolve that issue by making energy drinks specific to helping consumers when working out. This helps the people that need the energy booster before working out but also want to stay healthy.  

 

 

 

 

2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?  

My project engages with audiences by using motivating music and a real-life scenario. For example, in my project I used motivating music to encourage the viewers to use the product. This is also engaging because it shows what the project can help the viewer with. My product could be distributed as real media text because it was done in a very professional manner. Meaning, that if you were to look at other commercials the product mine is based around did, they are many similarities between them. For example, they use the same products, most of them use uplifting, motivating music, and they all have someone working out or participating in physical activity.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?  

My production skills developed throughout this project because as I started to film it was nerve racking, however, as the filming process went on it got less awkward and easier. With filming and editing being a brand-new thing for me it had its frustrating and confusing parts to it. The hardest thing for me was learning how to edit properly. I had never edited before so this was the part of the project I was dreading most. However, it turned out to be easier than I thought. Now that I know how to use the editing software’s the future projects will be easier to complete.  

 

 

 

 

 

 4.How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?  

I integrated technologies into my project by filming on my cell phones camera and using an online editing software. The use of technology made this a lot easier. With how advanced technology is there are so many useful tools right at our fingertips. We can edit, insert music, and film all on one device.
